California’s Apparition offers their latest with Profound Lore handling the vinyl, and Caligari Records handling the cassette.
I went with the cassette tape. The opening track is a breath of pungent, gnarly, ripe, riffs. They’re as heavy, as they’re catchy. I can say this is true for the entire album. 
This album is mean with some innovative drumming, and tempo changes. Everything this band does seems so natural, and not forced.
I really enjoy the atmosphere the lead guitar lends. An evil sinister guitar lead and the tone is dialed in perfect. The drums sound tight and punchy, and are showcased well. 
The cassette itself sounds awesome! Over 30+ minutes of music across 6 tracks.
This is a good release from last year, and worth looking into. 4/5 Coffins ⚰️⚰️⚰️⚰️
